An Interesting Meme.

I don't often post my fanfiction, but I do write it, so what the hell.

Cite the final line of five of your fics - your favorites, or the most recent ones.

1. "Just for this moment, in Sherlock’s arms, he knows that all will - eventually - be well." From "To Sleep, Perchance To Dream." BBC Sherlock, written for the 2013 Sherlockmas fic exchange. My imagining of the reunion of John and Sherlock, written well before Season 3.

2. "And with the smile on her face, he finally felt his hearts lighten." From "The Poppy." Doctor Who, written for the 2013 Public Call Fic Exchange. The Seventh Doctor and Ace observe Remembrance Day together.

3. "His answer, though not verbal, was everything she could have wanted, and everything that she had dreamed." From "You Do Something To Me." Doctor Who, written for the 2014 Public Call Fic Exchange. The Fourth Doctor and Romana I have a romantic evening dancing (yes, really dancing - you just know she'd be a good dancer) - this is the conclusion. Title and inspiration of the fic come from my favorite rendition (Sinéad O'Connor, on Red Hot + Blue) of my favorite Cole Porter song.

4. "She smiled at him then, the same smile that now hung on the wall of his library." From "Portrait of An Impossible Girl." Doctor Who, written for the 2015 Public Call Fic Exchange. The Twelfth Doctor, determined to show Clara that portraiture is not an obsolete skill, takes her to visit one of the finest artists he knows - Vislor Turlough. Who sees in Clara the potential for a beautiful portrait, sees that the Doctor is madly in love, and can't pass up a golden opportunity to play Cupid.

5. "Because she might be a jealous old girl, but she had taken Sarah Jane exactly where she had needed to be." From "This Definitely Isn't Croydon." Doctor Who, written for the 2016 Public Call Fic Exchange. We all know that Sarah Jane, when dropped on Earth by the Fourth Doctor, ended up in Aberdeen and not Croydon. But since the TARDIS always drops people exactly where they need to be, Sarah Jane finds (with the help of her good friend Harry Sullivan) that yes, she was left in Aberdeen for a reason. Bonus snarking about the Brigadier's kilt, Sarah Jane eating (and enjoying!) haggis, and Harry being the sweetheart he is.

Notice a pattern here? Yes, I write happy, warm, fuzzy fics. That's just how I roll.
