(no subject)
I've been spending a lot of time out in the woods this year, but it's all been SAR related: Either training staff for the recruit academy, or being a trainee myself at various technical winter rescue classes (And winter seems about over (Heck, it never really got started this year)...).
This weekend was a rare one with no plans, and I spent most of it out hiking -- Saturday on Tiger Mountain, snagging a few geocaches, and today doing a loop up Mt. Si, through the snow over to Mt. Teneriffe, and down a long steep slippery trail that wasn't much fun at all, really -- too busy trying not to fall and kill myself to enjoy it. Meant to get some more geocaches, but the ones I looked for were all buried in snow and I didn't bring a shovel or probe. Maybe this summer.
