Something I wrote a while ago, but Sci-chan wanted to see it. It's a very crack-y piece...
You won't really get the story behind it if you haven't read Sci's 2000 Years.
“… mommy?” The little girl whimpers. The mother hurries over and gently strokes her hair.
“Yes, dearling?” She whispers. Her daughter looks up at her with wide, tearful eyes.
“Why … is the sky crying?” The woman glances out the window.
“Because… Cephiro itself is grieving.” She answers, almost to herself.
“What happened?” The girl questions gravely.
“… someone very important died. Someone whose spirit was tied to the very essence of Cephiro.” The girl bites her lip.
“I… I remember when grandpa died. You were all so sad…” She looks up at her mother. “I hope… if they had a family… I hope they’re okay…”
Aria buried her head deeper, losing herself in Umi’s own long tresses. She had begun to sob silently.
