Put Me in the Water
DISCLAIMER: I'm sorry to everyone who has no idea what I'm talking about. Actually, I'm really not.
In Kingdom of Loathing, the Item-of-the-Month this month is Sp'n-Zor's Grimoire of "Tasteful" Gifts. After looking at it briefly, I decided I would cough up the $10 to get it, due to the comic value of being able to give other people beneficial foot massages and such. Little did I know what would soon befall me.
Apparently, I can also summon the very thing which plagued my family for the past 6 years or so....something so vile we're afraid to touch it and cringe every time we walk past it. Something that's lurked in the basement for far too long. That's right, I'm talking about...
...the Big-Mouth Billy Bass.
Oh, sure. It's called the Loudmouth Larry Lamprey here, but everyone knows what its making fun of. For those of you who happen to not know what it is (and I envy you for it), its a plastic mounted fish that has a motion sensor, resulting in it singing one of two songs as you walk by (Take Me to the River or Don't Worry Be Happy). The fact that I can now curse other people's campsites with that which scared the crap out of me countless times when I went to the basement to do laundry makes me ecstatic. I don't even really care what it does.
Im happy KoL continues to amaze me after all this time by bringing all sorts of crap I forgot about into light for public scrutiny. Seriously Mr. Skullhead. Were you stalking me whan I was a child?
