I think of myself as a somewhat intelligent person, but my 7 year old son routinely kicks my ass in chess. The joy of being a parent is that I'm happy about that.
I'm drunk. Do I post when I'm not drunk? I don't know. I haven't posted in a long time.
Life sucks.
Harry Potter is over...thankfully. That was quite the wrench in the works of my life. How odd. In the end, it's a children's series. A creative series of books. Not particularly well written, but very imaginative. Thanks for the memories. My fault for taking it too far.
Fated Addiction (too drunk to do the link thing) once told me about a writer named Carol Goodman. You were so right, Chris. I loved her work and have now read all of her books. I'm in the middle of a John Irving. I think he's a great writer, but he takes some tenacity. I won't start HP DH until I finish Widow for One Year, though.
I love West Wing. Need to buy Season 4. And I want the last season. It had some disappointments, but also some great moments. Great moments are rare and should be cherished. If only we could bottle them.
I've missed you all terribly. I hope everyone is blowing the roof off of life. Love IS the most important thing. No matter what anyone tells you.
