whenever my grandparents visit something cash money always happens. in this event, it was scattered over alyssa's graduation from cornell where, it turns out, the princess of thailand was graduating from too. that was neat.
for example:
nanny: "is nimmonsburg an indian name?"
or
nanny: what is that?
me: a skirt
nanny: do you use it to cover a typewriter?
and pop-pop of course
President of Cornell after speaking for 25 minutes and making at least 18 lame references to star wars and the dark side: I have several virtues i think that will keep you from the dark side. May you be honest to yourself. May you be non judgemental. May you reach your goals. etc
