Din-Din Time!

Kakuzu better not be late for this business venture! All of his snakes are back in their cages, and a nice traditional Japanese meal is laid out on the table. However, that fucker's going to have to knock like the rest of them. ♥

Lo and behold! Soon a heavy knock sounds on the door. If one were to gaze out the small peek-hole in the door, they would see Kakuzu shifting his weight from leg to leg impatiently, a motorcycle helmet under one arm and a piece of paper (presumably with an certain person's address and apartment number on it) clenched in one hand.

Oi.

Oro does actually peek out the eyehole before unlocking and opening his door. Can't be too careful, not since he made all those enemies during Lady's escape. When he's quite sure it's Kakuzu though, he flings open the door, still holding a rice ball and wearing a not-too-masculine apron. The Wall is in clear view.

"Oi" yourself. Come on in.

Kakuzu doesn't give the apron a second look. After all, he assumes that Orochimaru wears that sort of thing back in the kitchens at the Cafe too. Although the ruffles are a bit....well....moving on.

His eyes do, however, widen a bit upon seeing the Wall. And by widening, one can practically see the yen signs light up in his eyes at seeing all the snakes in their cages. He steps inside, gaze still focused at the Wall.

You weren't lying...

Of course I wasn't!

Orochimaru motions back to The Wall, no doubt his pride and joy of the house. His cage system is rigged up so that any cage can be opened from the front via a sliding glass panel, while the air flows through the sides.

Kakuzu, meet my babies.

.....

Kakuzu puts his helmet down on some nondescript table in order to slowly reach out and touch the glass panel, staring into one of the cages. This is all very surreal to him. As he stares, he figures he should say something, or at least ask a question (even if it doesn't sound like one, but then again, this is Kakuzu).

.....are they all poisonous.

Not all of them; some of them are constrictors.

Orochimaru finishes off the rice ball, silently counting and taking stock of his current snake collection.

Hm, no. Only about fifty or so are poisonous, and I've got three clutches of those breeds in the incubator as well right now.

Fifty. I see.....

He withdraws his hand, allowing his eyes to do all the examination for now. Something about this many snakes in the possession of one man puts him off just a bit.

...you've got even more? Huh. D'you keep 'em all, or sell them, or...?

Orochimaru on the hand, is positively beaming. He gets to talk about his little babies! Of course, many of them aren't that little

Of course, but they're in another room. If they're incubating or just hatched, that's where they'll bel.

Kakuzu turns to face Oro, folding his arms and shifting his weight some more.

So you keep all the snakes you....breed, then.

Looks at him appraisingly, moving to get one of the closer snakes out Of course I do. They're just like my children.

Makes a great effort not to shy away from the snake out of its cage too much. Instead, just takes a respectful step back, keeping his eyes on the serpent at all times. The snake in Orochimaru's hands, that is.

...this place is gonna get crowded, then.
Don't understand why you don't sell them, but hell, if you're so attached to them...I guess not.

It's a variation of cobra that Orochimaru has in his hands, but thankfully not the spitting kind. Orochimaru kisses its head before turning his attention back to his visitor

It is starting to get a little cramped, yes. Though I suppose if the Cafe needs the money, the eggs I currently have...?

Be that as it may, Kakuzu's got his eyes on anything that slithers and has fangs. Especially if there's no glass between him and it.

Fuck the Cafe. I was talking about for yourself.

Frowns; he loves the good life, but he's content enough with his snakes and his apartment for now

I've got no income problem, Kakuzu.

Scowls a bit at that; Kakuzu really can't understand someone not wanting to make more money.

Don't have to have an income problem to want to make more money, Orochimaru.

True, true...and I could always use the money on more expensive skin creams a bigger flat for my babies. What are you suggesting, exactly?
