home sweet home
it felt weird waking up today and yesterday....mainly for two reasons...first because i didnt have the beautiful city of st loius right there beckoning my awakening....and second because i got more than 4 hrs of sleep each night.....for those who didnt know, i spent last week in st louis missouri at a conference called NACURH....and for those of you who hate it when i speak acronym language nacurh is a national residence hall leadership conference held at a different college each year.....me and jess only knew a bit of what to expect, but boy arent we glad we went....our delegation of 14 people had the chance to meet college students all across the US who are in similar or the same leadership positions on campus....in fact there were like 2500 people there total....thats a buttload....anyways, i never knew i could learn so much and have so much fun at the same time.....
.....nacurh was the most amazing experience ever, especially since i got the chance to meet so many incredible people....one in particular has really touched my heart even in just the short time i have known him......it really makes me wonder if i lived in wisconsin or if he lived in michigan what exactly would come of things....but that is indeed something i will never know....the only thing i do know is a good old visit to platteville wisconsin may be necessary soon.....:)
.....so yeah, to sum up things, nacurch was awesome and yeah, maybe me and jess are a bit rebellious at times but hey, who isnt...hahaha...refer to her journal for more on that.....anyways, if you ever get the chance to visit st louis or st louis university (SLU), i would highly advise it....theyve not only got nice attractions but also some of the sweetest people ever....i am so blessed He has given me the opportunity to travel...
...now that im back i miss it...especially since ive just been working, sleeping, unpacking, tanning, and chillin...tonight im off to watch the pistons with sean and jerome....i love summer.....soon a trip to clarkston will be made to see my husband haha....
..i say this all the time but i hope you all are having charming little summers and just know youre all in my prayers ...jesus loves you straight up boo.....holla ...hahaaaaaa
