*smiles* I've had my head buried in online NWN gaming again. I feel like I'm coming up for air again. This is a good thing...
As always, I turn into a mouse when it comes to some things I'm obsessive about from time to time. When I go into one of my mousing phases, its really just best to let the obsessive part of me obsess over whatever its feeling obsessive about and just get it out of my system.
Life always works much more happily when I do that.
On the upside, when I've moused long enough over something, my spirit (for lack of a better word) starts to tell me so. Its been doing that recently... to good results.
Such as today... when
last_bastion and I decided to go see the Lipizzaner Stallions US tour group. He had been to see them before, but this was a first time for me. If I had an idea of history for them from WWII, I picked up quite a bit more listening to the program. And it was fun recognizing several of the things that I'd learned from
formal_copy over the years.
Man... you wanna talk about beefy horses. Woof! Thick necks abounded.
We had a good time... then topped it off with Taco Bell and Dairy Queen.
Today, of course, topped off the weekend. Wherein I had fun with good gaming.
On the garden front, everything seems to be growing well. Although, we did have one small problem. After leaving the beans alone for more than two weeks, one of our cats decided they needed to be thinned down in the pots by half. *smiles* I came home, and the beans furthest away from the windows had been mangled. Now I'll have to replant some. *smiles* Not that this will be a problem. On the up side, the peppers have sprouted. Yay! Looks like we'll have red bell peppers on the vine.
I think the garden's going in the week after we get back from Austin.
Raen.
