Drabble: Made of Memories
I found out today Robin Sachs passed away and sat down a few minutes ago to attemp writing a drabble in his honor. I hope I did a somewhat decent job. It is completley unbeta'd so if someone spots a mistake please let me know.

Ethan watched Rupert from the shadows as memories of a time gone by flowed freely. He remembered the day Randall died; the ritual, the possession, the attempted exorcism which resulted in his death. He remembered feeling an ache of loss in his chest and an all consuming guilt, while trying to hold onto his one comfort. Ripper was still alive. Ripper would help him get through it.
Yes, Ethan remembered that day watching the one person whom he thought he could count on walk out of their apartment in silence. No goodbye, no final glance back. Just walking away…from him.
