Im not dead. Im still around. I just didn't feel like posting for a long time.

A lot has happened in those days.

I spent a week in NYC on my work's dime to go to the Adobe InDesign conference. Stayed at the Hotel PA. It was a lot of fun and I had a great time. Also got to see my friend Claire who moved there a couple of months ago. Had some kick ass cheesecake too! :D

This past week I went on 'vacation'. I took a trip out west. I had never been out there, so I thought it would be a good time to see what its like.

I flew out Monday into Vegas. I was going to stay at Ballys. I was supposed to get into Vegas at around 10, but because my flight was delayed, I didnt get to the hotel until 2. They upgraded me to a penthouse! The biggest suites in the hotel. It was so amazing. I have photos I'll upload. Two bedrooms, living room, saunas, jacuzzi bathtub. Too bad I only got the room for the night :)

Then it was on to Arizona. I drove through the Hoover Dam and stayed at a Motel 6 on Route 66. The next day I went to the Grand Canyon. Absolutely beautiful. I then drove into Utah to Zion National Park and stayed right in the mountains. Also just fantastic. You drive down the mountain literally.

After that it was to Los Angeles! I drove past Vegas on the way. I stayed in Hollywood and went to a PF Changs for the first time. I went to Santa Monica peer and my feet touched the Pacific Ocean for the first time. I got really sunburnt :)

Then I drove to San Fran, which is just so pretty. Went over the Golden Gate bridge, drove down Lombard Street.. Stayed in the Hilton right next to Chinatown. I had automatic blinds, haha. It was a nice room.

Then I drove back to Vegas and stayed in the Luxor my last night there. Beautiful hotel!

And then I flew out and got back this morning.

I also went by myself.

I had an amazing time. Just driving was the best part. I got to see absolute desert as I drove through the Mojave and coming back from Utah I drove through mountain passes. As one point in California there were just tons of rolling hills with golden grass on them so it looked like sand dunes and I felt like I was in Egypt. I drove through a field of thousands of power wind mills.

I had a wonderful time.

Im glad to be home though <3
