I've been going to bed at 1:00 and up every night pretty much since the break started. After one day of school, here I am at 6:56 P.M. yawning and blinking to keep my eyes open. Curse it all.

Bright and early at 7:00, I hauled my sorry self out of bed and stumbled to the shower, to get myself all nice and clean. Put on dance clothes, dried my hair, ate breakfast, went to school.

We stretched from 8:00 to 8:30, conditioned for a little while, then went over our dances. At 9:00 we went to homeroom, where we got our schedules. Chims was in my homeroom: I made a paper airplane out of my schedule and we threw it back and forth.

Went back to dance. Danced some more, watched a rangerette presentation. Went to change at 10:00. Class ended at 10:30.

Orchestra: we listened to the UIL concert and then sightread "Variations on a Shaker Melody", by Aaron Copland. Sorry, guys, but I really am not a very big fan of Copland. I know, that must just completely make me some terrible, horrible, rotten and overall no-good musician, but I really, really dislike Copland. I thought I was going to die when we played John Henry a couple of years ago... but it all turned out fine. I don't mind variations quite so much (YET) but we'll see.

Speaking of a few years ago, does anyone have the UIL CDs from sophomore year and then last year, too?

Right. After orchestra, we went to government, with Hewgley. Here's the impression of her that I scribbled down on the back of my syllabus, underneath some other drivel about one of my classmates who was very nice to me:

Her white and gray hair comes to her chin, her skin is barely wrinkled on her round face, save for deep-set lines around the bloodshot and slightly milky blue eyes lined thickly with kohl.

But that just might be me being judgemental. By the way, most of my classmates for gov. suck, except Shoe and James and this one dude who let me copy his sheet because Hewgley was standing in front of the overhead. Bah.

After gov't, we went out to whataburger for lunch. Eric kind of ignored me. I think he's mad now... bleh. And I wasn't even trying to obnoxious today. Quite the opposite. But whatever. I guess I just always lose.

In comp sci, I got very, very tired and my whataburger stopped agreeing with me. And I wrote a bit of code, and my tablemates played hangman. There's really not much else to say.

After school, went to get my hair cut at Ulta. It's not much shorter but it looks kind of cute, I think. I'm going to grow it out, probably. I dunno, let's take a poll. Grow it out or leave it short, or hack it off?

After Ulta, I came back home and now here I am, very very tired and waiting for dinner / Mr. Donut to come back and talk to me some more so I can go the hell to bed.
