That's scary to me. I think it's explained by some of the comment wars that took place back in the past. I wish you could set it to a recent portion of the LJ. But that's the scores from 2001-present, folks. Some of you are behind. *Pokes a few people*

So what else? It's a gorgeous day, and I'm stuck in the office and in the cafe for the great majority of it. By the time I get home and have a shower after cafe-ing it up, I'm sure the clouds will be out in force. Still, after yesterday I would kinda like to take a walk after work... just on my own, just to clear my head. I can't remember the last "on my own" walk I did that was just a wandering walk with no purpose.

Oh, on another note, I miss my gay men! ;_; I miss Phil's hugs and Jeff's wit! I miss sitting around on my bed with Phil, bitching about men. I loved how Phil and I were always going through the same kinds of things with guys. I miss Jeff telling us all about his adventures. I miss them trotting cute guys down our hallway that we girls couldn't hope to get with 'cause they were gay. I miss the whole environment, and listening to Jen (tzen_ni), Jeff (evefalling), Hannah (hansor), Phil and others talk about their "small little ponds" as compared to my (apparent) sea, and feeling like, "Wow, someone else has it harder than me" 'cause honestly when I get on my bitch-fest kicks I need to be reminded. My 1st Hayden crew kept me grounded! Now I'm out here on my own, whining and complaining about the fact that life sucks hardcore most of the time. (Except when I'm strolling in the sun on my own). But yeah, just really wanted to say that I miss the guys... and the girls, too. *Dreams of Phil hugs*

"Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better."
- King Whitney Jr.

"It is difficult to say what is impossible, for the dream of yesterday is the hope of today and the reality of tomorrow."
- Robert H. Goddard (1882 - 1945)

"Approach each new problem not with a view of finding what you hope will be there, but to get the truth, the realities that must be grappled with. You may not like what you find. In that case you are entitled to try to change it. But do not deceive yourself as to what you do find to be the facts of the situation."
Bernard M. Baruch (1870 - 1965)

And finally:
"Weather is a great bluffer. I guess the same is true of our human society -- things can look dark, then a break shows in the clouds, and all is changed."
E. B. White (1899 - 1985)
