Who got a full-out 4.0 for her Spring Term?? Ooh ooh, me!!! Woo hoo! Not only in Anthro (where I was quite sure I had an A), but in History, too!! Guess my final was an A in that class as well!! *Dances around* And I did it on top of two jobs during the month of June and stressing out like crazy! Muahahahaha!
I'm sorry, I'm just really pleased with myself. I wasn't sure I could do it...I wasn't sure I could handle Spring classes and keep motivated, but I did and I won out. Woooo, and it raised my GPA on top of everything. ^_^ *Does a little dance* Yeah, that's right, I'm awesome.
Ok, my bit of pride is over.
Had a great weekend with James here. We spent hours and hours just talking and talking. I think we rehashed all our memories and we made new ones. ^_^ I was so surprised when he called, but it was great having him up here visiting me, seeing where I live and "how I roll". :P I'm hoping he comes back again in July with Joey and Katrina. Strange, that would be like Junior year. Interesting how the turn of times takes us. But then again, with the mental direction James is going in at present, it's not that surprising that he's seeking Joey's company once again.
Josh didn't get home until late at night yesterday, so my guess is I'll see him today or later in the week. Want to talk to him.
I am starting into "just work" for the rest of the summer. No more classes...no more forced reading. I just read The Other Boleyn Girl for the second time, and it's 600 pages. (All I did yesterday was read, actually. I was too tired and mentally apathetic to do anything else, plus it's been scorching and humid outside all weekend). So now I can read whatever. Maybe I'll go to the library, check out their whole Tudor section and figure out history in England from Columbus' time to that of Queen Elizabeth I.
Going home on Thursday. Gonna be there until Monday. Sucks that James and Alli will be gone for the weekend, but I'll get to see Shorty. And maybe Jeff is he's made it back in town. And my family! I miss my family.
