I'm going to show you some of my programming homework. I got a 100% on this and I don't actually understand what I did. I do a lot of copying other examples, playing with new information, and hoping it's somewhat correct, and I am always getting these damned 95% and 100%s. So, if you take a look under this cut and have no idea what any of it ( Read more... )

Mrr. I wouldn't have given this 100%, personally. But mebbe I'm just cranky. ^_^

In part, the reason I say that is the line:
Write NewFile, Student, Score1, Score2, Score3

Except that you haven't used the variables Score1, Score2 or Score3 before this, you used Test1/2/3 instead.

The problem also states you should be reading the file created in part one, but from the syntax it looks like you're creating a new file. So instead of a lot of "write" commands, I'd expect to see "read" instead.

I should also mention, however, that being unfamiliar with the syntax of the pseudocode and the assignment, combined with some slight inebriation may cause a lower grade in the Nkuvu Grading Scale than what you really deserve. ~_^

This is my point exactly! The teacher gives me perfect scores when I KNOW something is at LEAST "a bit off." AND I don't get correction, which makes me feel frustrated. I have a big final this week and I have about 35% confidence in my ability to do it. But because there's no correction or instruction in this class, I'm also thinking "Oh well, he never grades anything wrong."

Would you pretty please help correct my final this week? lol. I'll just post a rough draft and if you could find flaws in it, I would be ever grateful. This teacher or mine does not point out mistakes, EVER! Grar.

Happy to do so, as I've mentioned before. Email is probably the easiest way to reach me, for the record (my LiveJournal email forwards to my real email address, so my username at LJ will work fine, in case you don't have my real email address).

Edit:
Posting to your journal works as well, but I haven't been very good about checking LJ frequently, so an email reminder might be a good idea if time is a factor.

You're wonderful! My class ends next Sunday, which is when my final is due. I'll try to get it done early for revisions and things. I'll be shooting you some email this week sometime. Thank you! <333
