In a lapse of nostalgia, I've been downloading old early 90s computer games. But the same problem I run into every time is that the MIDI format original score won't play through my computer. Every game is dead silent. I can't figure it out! If anyone has any geeky advice, I'd love to hear it.
Of course, the game that inspired this annoyance is the Monkey Island series. I can get the game to run just fine, but it's the music I miss the most and what really made me connect with the game. The music brings back so many memories.

this site is awesome, if you wear makeup or are even remotely interested in it. I'm a recent makeup addict, but not quite a junkie, so I wear a little bit daily, but nothing spectacular. I never wear eye makeup, for example. But everything on this site costs $1 and I figured, I can't go wrong buying things. If I don't like them, they're only a buck, and I can toss them after.
The company is pretty interesting. It was founded by a man who used to work for Neutrogena, so he knows his makeup. The prices are so low because they don't advertize.. they keep the packaging simple... and they do not use animal products, and are Peta friendly. They also buy from one vendor, so apparently they get better deals from the warehouses they purchase from. All in all, it's pretty damned nifty (phrase learned from Bear -- see? I'm trying.)
And, if you happen to want to purchase anything, be sure to leave your email address for me so I can refer you and get credit towards free stuff! :) Even if it was
vampirekiss that pointed me in the right direction. I am cheeky.
