hello, old friend, hello.
so i haven't updated this in forever. i figured it was that time.
it's finally spring break. yay me.
i'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled on tuesday. terrified. completely terrified.
other than that, i'm recovering and hopefully getting some work done. (yes. for me, spring break is that special week allotted to you to get all of the work done that you haven't started because you were too busy playing in the snow.)
i'm also thinking about possibly taking a day trip to chicago, but we'll see how that goes.
i wish i was done with school, but then what would i do? bah. i want to travel. i was listening to sara talk about some of her 9 months in europe last night and it made me realize how lame i am. i've never been out of this country. that is tragic. seriously.
sean and i are getting close to 1 year. it's insane.
when you're 14, you think you're life is going to be so set apart from everything that you see around you. that you're never going to get to *that* age. but good lord, as i keep going, i sometimes am able to step outside of myself and look around. it's everything that i never thought it would be.
craziness.
i'm an english major now. i'll be 21 in 135 days. (yes, i'm counting down.. shut up.) i guess that means i'm cooky huh? it's weird. i love what i'm doing. but i can't help but think that maybe there's some other major i should be doing. perhaps i'll add an environmental science major or something. you know, tack on about 3 more years of schooling that will lead to me working at a cell phone kiosk or something.
i wish leila was still around to send me comments and such. i miss my deadjournal buddy :( and her packages. ;)
i'm in a french existentialist class right now. it's really kinda freaking me out a bit with those grand, overarching themes of life.
but i don't want to think about that right now. it's spring break. i want to turn my brain off for at least a couple of days. i should think about it some though. would probably give me something to write about again.
does anyone else think it's funny that i'm an english major and don't really write? i do.
