In Which the Main Character Returns from a Long Journey

. . . well, yes. The title says it all, really?

I'm BAACK! Our plane got in at, oh. . . noon today. We left Heathrow at six-something. So, basically, I went nearly 40 hours without sleep. (Half hour cat naps at the airport don't count)

Anyways, I slept for about four hours as soon as we got home, and then I couldn't get to sleep when it was actually time to go to bed. Despite how utterly exhausted I was. Am. Not so much now, I suppose. It's nearly five am and I haven't gone to sleep yet. I believe I'm developing a problem, potentially known as TIME CHANGE CONFUSION. Or something. I don't know quite how else to explain it.

Also, I could go on for days talking about all the things we did, what we saw, etc etc, but right now I have no clue where to start, so I'll save that (long) update until I'm more prepared. Oh, and I'll upload pictures in a bit, too. I have to get new batteries for my camera. And I have to get pictures from Danielle, because we mostly used her camera.

So there you go! Short update. I should probably try and fall asleep for a couple more hours while I still can!

Cheers,

Rachel

P.S. I went to the bathroom at about three am, and Lillian was at the front door, trying to figure out how to get in, cause apparently my Dad locked her out and she was going to catch a ride in the morning. I very much did not expect anyone knocking at the door at three in the morning. It was a bit of a shock.

england, return, shock, insomnia, update
