mt. pleasant, here i come!
i am almost positive that jess and i have found a place to live next year!!!
it is at 16th and harvard. so basically:
-4 blocks to columbia heights metro and fun new shops and grocery store.
-2 blocks to mt.pleasant bars, restaurants, shops, and farmers market.
-3 blocks to adam's morgan.
-8 blocks to u street.
-0 blocks to AWESOME!
there is no dishwasher but i think you can buy one that you hook up to your sink. i am going to look into it. laundry is in the basement. there is a doorman 24 hours a day. there are a bunch of 20 somethings living in the building.

i am so excited. there is a lot of space in the apartment too. there is a big living room. the kitchen has a small dining space. there is a sun room that we can use as an office/reading room. there is a huge storage closet and great big windows.
the walls are spackled which looks weird but we can paint and I WILL PAINT!
i'm off to eat brunch and to try to find a dishwasher online.
