I think I am a sick person. I don't generally believe i funerals, specifically for this reason- they are for the living, not for the dead, and are often conducted in a wholly inappropriate fashion by those who haven't the faintest idea who they're droning about- and for some reason, I don't hold with the concept of people sitting around dwelling on what they think is terrible. I don't want a funeral. If there has to be any event at all when I die, I want it to be just as immature, ridiculous, and obnoxious as I am now.

I am not at all uncomfortable talking about death and dying, be it involving myself or anyone else. I think about it a lot... but not in the way that people assume everyone does.

So... I sort of almost know how you feel? It' something important to discuss, regardless of the feelings on the subject. this is the sanest time of your life and the only time your major wishes be taken seriously- best to broach a 'nasty' subject while you're capable of doing so with your whole mind.

It dates a long way back, the ancient Romans thought the Egyptians were sick for the way they seemed obsessed with death.
