Apropos of Nothing
Two friends of mine have had birthdays in the past month, and I've ended up making them both birthday cakes. Which is why I have, in the last month, produced a cookie cake featuring the Seal of Samael and a futanari-themed chocolate nectarine almond cake*. My domestic tendencies manifest in weird ways.
Also, despite having seen almost none of the show, I'm totally addicted to Television Without Pity's House M.D. recaps. I can't imagine that the actual show is more entertaining than Sara M.'s kickass commentary.
Jen and I are racing like crazy to get SuperGrrrl Adventure Comix #1 out on time. To our surprise, it has turned out to be forty pages long. ROCK. Also, the cover art, which came in a couple days ago, is AWESOME.
*"Why the fuck would you make cakes with those things on them?" you may wonder. Well, I believe in making birthday cakes featuring a) things my friends enjoy, and b) things they would not expect to see on their birthday cakes. Also, the seal of Samael is EXACTLY the right shape and size for a cookie cake.
