Broken Future (A Sherlock fanfic Vid)
Summary: With a new serial killer roaming the streets of London, Sherlock, with John by his side, finds himself going up against his greatest foe yet - himself. More detailed story info below...

This is based around a fanfic I'm currently working on. I have it planned out basically and now just need to get enough written so I can start to post it. I'll put a link in here when I've gotten it up.
Pathetically slow laptop - check. Annoying video software that keeps freezing and crashing - check. Dodgy files that need to be fixed before they can be used - check.
Yes, I have had so much fun (AKA trouble) during the making of this video. It is my first trailer/voice over/story video. First, I had to find the right song (which was torture in itself), then I had to shorten the song (the easiest part of the whole process) and then... well, let's just say the Devil may be in the details but Hell is definitely in the preparation.
Story:
There is a serial killer roaming the streets of London and as Sherlock and John are called to the latest crime scene, John finds himself catching a glimpse of a familiar figure watching them. Only his eyes must be playing tricks as Sherlock is right in front of him.
Inside the crime scene, Sherlock confirms that it is indeed the same murderer but struggles to make a connection between the victims and so the pair make their exit. Only, as they start their walk back home, they see a dark figure with a knife and give chase. Upon catching up, Sherlock demands answers only to find himself face to face with himself - or rather, himself from five years into the future.
After losing John to an explosion, Future!Sherlock lost his link to humanity and snapped - thus began his killing spree. But he needed an adversary and found a way back through time to find the perfect one - himself.
In the present time, he flees the scene, leaving Present!Sherlock and John cursing his escape.
Future!Sherlock continues to kill while Present!Sherlock and John struggle to stop him. But John refuses to believe that Sherlock could be turned into something so cruel and is out clearing his head when he catches sight of the man, thus narrowly avoiding the bomb that had killed him in Future!Sherlock's timeline.
But Future!Sherlock wishes to preserve his future and decides that in order to do so, he must kill John himself, texting him to meet up. John, believing he may be able to talk some sense into the man, goes and pleads with him.
Meanwhile, Present!Sherlock races to get there before John is killed. But as Future!Sherlock presses his gun to John's head, he finds he can't pull the trigger and leaves to watch the reunited pair from the shadows...
