Well, its been a while. Its incredible to consider how much has ‘gone down’ since i last posted. I'll try my very best to fill in the gaps for you lurkers! OK i dont really have any recollection of the end of last year, except maybe new years eve. It was...err, eventful? I contracted some deadly flesh-eating disease at the beginning of the year, ( Read more... )

"...when you’re stone cold, six feet under where nobody gives a crap except the worms who are having trouble tearing through your rubbery dead corpse."

My favourite line.

But dude, since whenever did you have a flesh-eating disease? Your flesh looked fine last time I saw you. Okay, I know how that sounded, Whatever. But srsly?

Oh and Pathways? I know a couple fo twins who did that and they are AWESOME so therefore, you are awesome. But ew, I would never do that at my school. Lucky yours is good.

HAHA it wasnt really a flash eating disease! At first i became really fatigued in the school holidays, but i brushed it off because i didnt think it was anything major until, of course, i woke up one night, had a 41 degree fever and was rushed to hospital where i had a drip in my arm for the next 7 days! It was my intestine. (ew I know haha) We dont know how it happened, probably from un-fresh sushi or something like that, im still feeling the repercussions of it now though and it sucks! And yeah, im quite surprised with the pathways thing because im getting a lot of support! So thanks! I thought people would treat me like a dropkick, but its working out ok. Lolz Ive already started benefiting as well and this is only my second week in!

Dude, 41 degrees!! That's like... OUCH. And damn. And ouch. But yeah, I know what you mean about lasting fucking illnesses - I missed the whole fo year 11! Pathways was suggested once ro twice but I was like "EXCUSE ME? I would prefer to FAIL my HSC than spend an extra DAY at that school."

I'm glad it's working for you. How's it different at the moment? A lot less classes?

wow, what happened with you? it was really weird because i never get really really sick, and for a bout of some weird illness to hit me a few days before the start of one of the 'most important years of my life' was almost like karma, although im treating it more like fate haha. very few classes, 12 periods a week (out of 30) so im able to focus only on 2 subjects, instead of 5. Honing in on things seems to work for me, rather than having heaps of stuff to complete and doing it all half-arsed or not at all!

Oh I got Glandular when I was in a dance around September 2005 but my stupid stupid doctor told me it was just the flu so I just drugged myself and kept going. Then basically as soon as it finished, I had school camp (ours are NOT friendly camps - they're drop-you-off-on-the-side-of-the-road,-come-find-you-again-6-days-later camps) and then the day after I came back, we flew off to Istanbul. Then I was all over Europe in the coldest winter in over 100 years and when Iw ent back to school in 2006, I crashed. Post Viral Syndrome. It's like Chronic Fatigue but you have no immune system so you get EVERY cold, EVERY infection. Sucks. So I basically missed all of year 11 and I am totally failing everything now! Wahee!
But yeah, I think I'd do better with Pathways but I seriously could not stand another year at that place.
