This morning, I woke up and I worried that last night didn't happen the way I remember it, that there wasn't that amazing feeling of accomplishment and being part of something far bigger than us. But it did. It's real, we made history. We took a huge step in the right direction for everything.
I am so fucking proud of this country. Despite our many fuckups and follies, we proved to ourselves and the world that if we really believe in something, we will fight and fight for it.
I'm proud of McCain, even, for no re-counts, no trickery, for being honorable, doing the right thing, and accepting the fact that it is Obama's time. He could have pulled the same fuckery Bush did.
