This weekend has much promise and has started out pretty damn good, albeit there’s some major stress in store in the very near future. Today, er, yesterday I suppose was a lot of fun, starting off with a game of catch with Dima and Laura. Lacrosse style. You know it’s fun when you can’t even see the ball. Add this to the fact that two elementary girls came over and wanted to play who actually knew what she was talking about added to the hilarity of the situations. After Lacrosse, we just hung out at Prairie’s playground where tire swings, monkey bars, and searches for wallets were all applied liberally. Somewhere and somehow, we ended up at Laura’s house with Mike W. and watching Shrek. Good movie and good times.
After Laura kicked us out, I ended up at the only place one really can go at 11:00 at night: Steak and Shake with Brian, Norah, Kate, and a girl named Ashley. Then, we just basically drove around for two hours where I rediscovered how judgmental I can be sometimes. In any case, I blame Brian for all of it.
However, no matter how much fun this weekend will be, Monday is D-Day. With ‘Anything Goes’ auditions and the fact I haven’t prepared at freaking all, I’m a bit nervous. Plus, I’ve got a meeting with some people at Illinois Wesleyan at 1:00 to essentially beg for money so I can go there. I swear, if I can’t go there because I can’t afford it, I’ll...do…something. Meh. Well, in the spirit of procrastination, that’s Monday. This is just recently Saturday. There’s plenty of time to worry later!
