FANDOM MARCH MADNESS, GUYS.
If you've got a minute in the next hour or so (yes before noon EST today), please jump over to this thread, click the sci-fi/fantasy poll and vote for BATTLESTAR GALACTICA to be included in the bracket.
Despite new rules eliminating popular fandoms of the past -- no shows cancelled over 2 years ago -- we realized quickly that BSG has a loophole through "Blood and Chrome", i.e. the franchise is still going on and will be counted as a whole. The mods agreed, a whole bunch of people voted, and now it is so close - where the voting stands now is basically very, very tight between BSG, Lost Girl, Merlin, and The Hobbit/LOTR for the second open sci-fi/fantasy slot. (The first is most definitely going to The Avengers.) I honestly hadn't expected it to get so many votes.
Short version: BLOOD AND CHROME HAS A PURPOSE NOW, PEOPLE. DON'T LET IT HAVE EXISTED IN VAIN.
Go vote if you can!
[No fake accounts, no voting for things that are already in the bracket, spell out the show name in its entirety (but not necessary to put the year or other parts of franchise).
