I Failed
So I failed to blog everyday in April, not that I am overly shocked by that, but oh well. Yesterday was just terrible, and all I wanted to do was sleep once I got home, or watch tv, or anything not involving a computer.
I spent hours yesterday on the network at work, without really fixing anything outside of getting the internet working in the building again. Tomorrow Bill and I are heading in early to get the print server and the server connected back to everything and to get the static IP situation figured out with AT&T.
Today was nice at least. Been working on getting ready to put products up on Amazon for work, and the weather was fantastic, so I spent my breaks outside at the picnic table basking in the sun. One thing I really love about this job is that I’m doing different things everyday outside of printing eBay orders and getting them packaged and ready for mail pickup. I work on newsletters, our decrepit old website (think a greymatter style shopping cart system), craigslist stuff, amazon stuff, tech issues in general, etc. I’m also working on finding new solutions to things like our website, our inventory system, marketing ads, you name it. Everyday is a mixed bag and it makes it alot of fun for me.
But, I think I am back in the swing of blogging. I actually think of things to blog about again, and it’s nice to not feel so blah about it.
So yeah, I failed, but I don’t think I totally failed. I got the push I needed. Thats what really counts in the end.
Outside of fixing the network at work tomorrow I don’t think Bill and I have any weekend plans outside of cleaning, going to the gym, and relaxing. Anyone have an exciting week at work, or fun plans this weekend?
