(*Andy's POINT OF VIEW*)
And if there would have been a God, I think he would have been mad at Alison. I think he was trying to spite her. When we got home two weeks later, after her daily vists with Jayden who was now out of the hospital but when she wasn't playing a show she was home, Ali got mad. Broken Frames was just playing small little shows in LA. The tour was offically over that day.
"Devin called." Ali sighed, voice flat.
"Why?" I asked, blood rising at the low life's name.
"He said he called two weeks ago." Her voice was still as flat as a line.
"He did." I nodded.
"Why didn't you tell me?" She demanded, voice rising.
"Your friend was in the hospital! You want me to have even made that harder for you by telling you that some jackass called just to demand his place in your band?" I aruged.
"You shouldn't just keep it from me!" She yelled.
"What should I have done then?" I asked. "Whisper it in your ear while you cried in your sleep?"
"You had so many oppertunities!" She argued.
"Well, I'm sorry! Excuse me for not wanting to brake you further down!" I tried not to scream at her.
"That's not why and you damn well know it!" She accused. "You didn't tell me 'cuz you thought you could 'handle it'!"
"No! That's so not why! Why would I lie to you?"
"'Cuz you're worried about saving your own ass." She spat.
"Ok, you know what? You're so fucking wrong. Talk to me when you can actually understand." I opened the door and shut it behind me.
"Where the hell are you going?" She asked as Vikas came trotting alongside me.
"Out!" I replied over my shoulder. "Go back inside, Vikas! Now!" I ordered. The dog looked at me as if I had three heads and then continued to trot happily beside me. I decided I was willing to take him out as I opened the driver's door to get in my car. I opened the passenger's side door from within and Vikas hopped in the car. I gripped the wheel so hard my knuckles were burning white. "Well, now where the fuck am I going to go?" I wondered aloud. Vikas continued to look up at me happily. I decided to drive to Danny's house. Danny moved to LA about two weeks ago. He and Myca broke up and although Asking Alexandria is in the UK, Danny thought he should work on his sideproject in LA. I drove to Danny's as fast as I could without getting pulled over. Luckily for me. LA cops suck at their job and don't pull anyone over.
"Ah, God. You shouldn't have walked out on her like that." Danny sighed and wipped his hand over his face. My english friend appeared to have lost some weight, he looked happier...healthier even.
"She's probably pissed." I sighed and did the same.
"Oh, no, I know she's pissed." He assured me.
"Thanks." I said sarcastically.
"Callin' it like it is." He put his hands up. "Want a drink? I got some fancy wine and shit from the family dinner last night."
"Yeah, sure." I waved it off.
"Red ok?" He asked.
"It's whatever." I replied. I watched Vikas play with Danny's two corgis,
Belle and Lucifer.
"Red it is..." He mumbled with a sarcastic smile, focusing on pouring my glass. Oddly, Danny did not pour himself a glass. He instead grabbed himself some mineral water or..whatever it is.
"Where's yours?" I asked as he handed me my wine.
"I try not to drink as much anymore. Apparently, wine is not the most dietitic thing to drink." He smiled.
"Well doesn't that suck?" I asked rhetorically.
"Tell me about it, Andy. Please. Go on." He jokingly growled.
"I'm just going to guzzle this fine specimin of alchohaul." I took a big gulp. I wasn't fond of the taste of red wine. Or wine in general, but I didn't love red at all. "Ahhh, wonderful." I teased.
"Shut the fuck up, you wanker."
"Ahah, wanker! You're in America! No one knows what that is!"
"Sorry, you're right," He laughed. "Shut the fuck up you constant mastabater."
"Not as funny as wanker."
"Britt's point, exactly." Danny and I smiled. We sat there and talked for another fifteen minutes until we got back onto the issue at hand.
"You know you're going to have to confront her." Danny said.
"I...I know." I surrendered.
"And she's going to be mad."
"I also know that."
"But, she's going to understand." Danny pointed at me. "And that's all you need. But don't you dare raise your voice or anything. Don't argue. Don't make it even sound like you're arguing. You're going to be submissive, Andy. Submissive."
"Submissive." I repeated. Ali and I are never submissive toward on another.
"Submissive." Danny said firmly.
~
I walked up the stairs, knocked on the front door and opened it. Vikas trotted inside, leading me in.
"Ali?" I called out, almost shyly.
"Gimme a sec, love!" She called from...somewhere. I didn't know. She opened and closed Matt's bedroom door.
"What were you doing in his room?" I chuckled, my heart pounding, waiting for her to yell at me.
"Asshole stole my bear." She grumbled. Her hand gripped the little bear Ashley gave her last christmas. She walked up to me, standing tall, her chest just a milimeter away from mine. I put my hand on her chin and she smiled. I leaned down and kissed my bestfriend's lips softly. She kissed me back, almost gracefully. She wrapped her arms around me, bear in hand. My other hand moved to her hip as I tore myself away. I grabbed the bear out of her hands and looked at him, cradling him between us.
"He is cute." I mummured.
"He is though, isn't he?" Her beautiful blue eyes starred into mine. Her smile make my heart pound even more, but not out of nervousness. She still left me breathless even if she was only wearing a Sugarfix brown sweater and blue jeans. She looked perfect for the fall.
"He is." I kissed her forehead without crushing the bear. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you about Devin calling. It slipped my mind and then when I remebered Jayden got in the crash and-" My words hung in the air. She sighed.
"If you ever walk away from me when we're arguing, or if I'm mad, or something...I will kill you." She said honestly. I pushed the black hair out of her face and tucked it behind her ear.
"And if you accuse me of worrying about saving my ass I'll have to kill you."
"Understandable." We said in unison. I chuckled and she smiled up at me.
