Like many, 2009 sucked for me. However, when I look back at my 2009 goals, I didn’t do half bad in achieving them.
Year Goals
I got a full-time job in Atlanta. Quit a full-time job in Atlanta for another full-time job; though paperwork error messed that up. Still waiting to get on full-time at Westwood. Word now is March term.
Completed the Basic Tech Writing Certificate class at Kennesaw State.
Didn’t pay off any credit cards, but did manage to pay off one relative. Also built savings back up to about 2-3 months of emergency funds. Would have done better on this front if I had not had so much trouble with the Corolla this year.
Have not lost weight but did join a gym and started going to a trainer consistently in October. Working on getting re-started and motivated for the year and expect to see results in the next 3-4 months. Have lost a few inches and 7% body fat.
Visited my grandparents twice and went to the beach one weekend with friends.
Did not do any volunteer work, unless you count Dragon*Con. Still a goal and now have a work schedule that might be conducive to doing something in my life other than work.
Did not start an active hobby, but have made progress towards that goal in terms of getting in shape.
Month Goals
I am finally getting something done on music and pictures now that I have a computer that can handle the work. Had a garage sale in October. Still working on files. And as always, Dragon*Con was a success in August/September.
Week Goals
Well those goals kind of came and went in terms of accomplishment depending on my mental state and energy level. Definitely got good at posting once a week, even if it was on Face book rather than LJ.
