Well the snow got cleared up enough....
So I could go to work yesterday. And even though I showed up, a lot of parents kept there kids home. I guess they wanted to make sure they'll be safe. I hope more show up today.
We had a lot of fun this weekend though. Saturday was such a blast. I have to admit, I never realized you could have so much fun with that stuff. The sledding was awesome. I think we broke a few speed records on those things.:) But I got to say ice skating isn't for me. But at least the kids had a good time.
And as you all know, Kia really outdid herself so everyone that stayed around could eat, cause there was plenty. I swear I don't know when she finds the time to make all that stuff, and to make sure we have tons of hot chocolate to drink. Like I've said before she is amazing.
Sunday we did more of kicking back than anything, which was good cause I needed the rest. You would think with three days off I would be plenty rested, but trust me I needed the rest.
But like I said yesterday at the Dojo was fairly quiet. Only the real die hards came. That was great cause it gave me a chance to really work with them. I'll bet my students will win a few trophies this year when the competitions come up. I can't wait. I would love another year of clean sweeping the awards. Who knows maybe I can get another raise.
