Getting ready
I took the day off of work, one to help Kia start preparations for this grand celebration we're having, and two because there doesn't seem to be much happening today at the school any ways. My day was going to be pretty boring, and I would rather spend the day with the little guys and my lovely wife anyway.
I don't think I need to go into details about what a lousy cook I am, but I knew there were things I could do.
One thing that me, BB, and Daikon got to do was to rip up the bread for the stuffing Kia is making. I have to admit I got a kick out of watching BB saying he was a big boy cause he "helpes" mommy. Of course the bread he ripped up I went through to get the pieces a easier size for Kia to work with. But I wasn't going to be the one to burst the little guys bubble, so I kept telling him what a big help he was. Kia was also saying what a big boy she had, which made BB beam.
What a got a real kick out of was when Future Vegeta and BJ came back from there training, BB went running towards them. I could tell by there looks that they were expecting to be molested by pizza mouse, but instead he said in a loud booming voice that he was a big boy, and waited for me to confirm.
The two of them looked puzzled, and I nodded explaining how BB helped his mother in the kitchen with the celebration preparations. And BB looked at me with one of his looks and said NO, broke bread.
Now I could tell that both Vegeta and BJ were confused, and I explained how BB "broke the bread" for the stuffing. Which BB nodded about puffing his little chest as if to say what a really big boy he was. Both Future Vegeta and BJ smiled and told BB what a big boy he was, which made him beam even more.
I don't know what I did to get such great kids, but I gotta tell all of you, the biggest thing I am thankful for are my kids and Kia. I don't know what I would do without them, and I would hate to think about that.
So yes folks, I can honestly say there will be more than enough for everyone that comes. Heck the more the merrier.
Now I just hope I get our little ego machine off to bed tonight. Wish me luck.
