melaniejennifer , i made some goals for the month of February... i think i made a pretty lofty list and didn't think i would get to many of them - and i was right...
let's see how i did:
- Qualify for the Boston Marathon with a finishing time of 3:45:39 or less. (attempting on 2/28/10!) - DONE!!!
- See most of the Oscar movies that I intend to see. - pretty close - i still would like to see "A Single Man" and "The Hurt Locker" and "invictus" - i will probably only get to see The Hurt Locker since it's on DVD... OH the cheap theatre has Invictus starting today - maybe tomorrow night??
- Start re-reading Deathly Hallows aloud with Chris. nope - chris hasn't been here most of the month.
- In an effort to jumpstart my overall NY resolution of getting a new wardrobe (that fits and is flattering!), continue purge of old, big or just ugly clothes from my life! - i've started doing this. i tossed a pair of pants and shorts that were horrible.
- go through Sidney's books and toys and donate/toss what we no longer use. i did some books - not toys yet.
- meet one new mom/kid/family to potentially hang out with. nope. i will work on this for March.
- start looking into school curriculum. nope. i think it's too early for me to do this... i have to get my days more organized first.
- have an evening out with Chris... even if it's just to the store. nope. as i mentioned, chris hasn't been here much this month and he is usually exhausted when he is here.
- buy a new wallet! - nope. i did look at several stores but haven't seen anything that isn't horrible. i need to find something online.
so - not great but not bad - but the big one was Boston and i did it! i had a great month. i felt more relaxed and less frantic. Sidney and I had a lot of fun together and I structured our days a little better so we could do some projects. i didn't fall behind at work. chris and i even argued less (probably b/c he wasn't here!).
March goals coming soon.
