is a 12% raise really unreasonable?
It is really hard to talk about raises :( During my review yesterday, the boss offered me 5%, which is pretty standard. I'm getting pretty underpaid and was hoping for 20% (ideal), but I'd even settle for 12-15%.
So I'm eating chocolate-covered espresso beans to get me PUMPED UP before I go in and talk to her. GET IN THE ZONE RAD GET IN THE ZONE
This is a marked difference from the Pina Colada I was drinking last Friday. Regardless of the outcome of this talk, I WILL be drinking hard tonight. The only difference is that it will either be accompanied by extreme triumph or extreme rage.
Also, journalist is back in town and has been in touch. Hm.
