They've caught our attention with Abracadabra. And now they're back to give you more of that magic.
Sign is a soft pop/dance fusion that's quite enjoyable because the girls voices harmonize so well with a buzzer club-ish beat. Don't expect aggression. Instead the words playful and coyish come to mind. With the words "Mayday" featuring prominently in the chorus, there's a suspense-like quality surrounding the music like a secret is about to be revealed. I can't wait for the music video to be unveiled !
EDIT: WOAH! Sign...my oh my. The MV is the total opposite of sunny and positive. I'm in awe at the dramatics the girls have used this time. No dancing scenes. And despite netizens going bezerk over the "violence", I did actually find the video to be highly entertaining and tragic at the same time. Plus Ga-in looked both so vulnerable and poised as the damsel in distress. Excuse me for going on and on about this. I'm just *_* right now.
Sleep on Drunk as most have compared it to ABBA's "Winner Takes It All" has made quite an impression on me. It's a semi-power ballad that showcases the girls strong but sensual vocals that makes the skin tingle with glee. It's made emotional with tuned whispers and the added drums for effect make it rocksational. Underneath it all I feel the elements of drama and sadness as the girls approach crescendo towards the end.
I love these girls to bits. And eversince Sound-G arrived on the scene, the B.E.G. have been teasing us non-stop with that music video and just how much they can take it to the next level. I'm sure you won't be disappointed with this repackage.
