Just when things coudn't get any better, another boy-band debuts. Cube Entertainment best known for their girlgroup 4minute showcases BEAST (previously known as B2ST). Expect auto-tune and catchy electronic beats in all tracks. The "beasties" (as I call them) have got slick dance moves and look absolutely delicious live. (Check out YT video). Bad Girl's a tough cookie kinda song that I'm loving. Track 04 also has me wanting more. It's a chilled out RnB styled tune complete with camera clicks and the akward *sh*t* in the rap. - Unless I heard wrongly. One apprehension though, I was hopping for something different but it may seem that BEAST could easily slip into the background as yet another boyband. Only time will tell if that's true. Until then, fresh faces are always welcome.

MBLAQ stands for Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality. What? I know, I just in awe at the abbrevations that they can conjour up these days. Anyway, not to seem biased or anything, MBLAQ is sure lucky to have Rain backing them although, everything about this tiny, mini single just *screams* RAIN rather thann Mblaq. That could be a good thing seeing how successful Rain is today but also makes me question if Mblaq does have an identity or style that they can call their own.
"Oh Yeah" starts of with a Spanish guitar feel and echoing claps as beats. It's got a solid video to match. Plus, their dance moves are killa. "G.O.O.D Luv" once again opens with Englrish-speak but picks up with electronic waves bringing you to appreciate the flow between r&b and techno. "My dream" is a ballad that sounds best at the chorus. They seem like a promising group. Can't wait to see them live.

SHINee's back. This release is for their third mini album: 2009, Year of Us. oooh man, I simply cannot wait! Ring Ding Dong is one hella dance beat. It's got all the elements of an interesting tune "ring, ding, dong" and heavy bass beats that'll work great with surround sound speakers. I'm totally following the dance moves in this vid *I try*. They seem so grown up and mature in this get-up.

Wow, I actually like this single. It's a peek into a two-part album "Double date" that's split into "One Date" and "Two Date". It reminds me of a tragic love story scene where the hero waits for the heroine at their old meeting place but she never shows up. The poor dear would have been initially lied to by her friends, ex-bf, mother, his ex-gf etc, tricked into believing that their love was gone. But she fights those words off, runs to meet him. It rains. The roads are slippery and dangerous. She meets with an accident and loses her memory. WOW. Dramatic INDEED. Okay, back to the music. It's a breath of fresh air compared to the usual hip-hop fusion with electro-pop and fancy robotic vocoder use. There's plenty of passion and emotion to be felt. Get this NOW.
