I just want to say that JuJu is my favourite Siouxsie album - just a few weeks ago I probably would have said Kiss in the Dreamhouse - but having just listened to pretty much all of it again; JuJu is the best. Second, how did I live so long without hearing Head Cut - it's been years and years. It's even better now. This whole album rocks... what does that say?
a) I really do love the Swax
b) at the age of 15 any music you happen to be listening to will be permanently etched into your neural pathways and you will love it forever no matter what
c) at almost 40 years old I still think songs about severed heads are swell
I've listened to a lot of old music in the past week, I have to say that album was pretty close to the best thing. Except finding a rip of This Mortal Coil's Sixteen days (reprise) which, well... it's been a while since I had an eargasm =) Well ok - listening to In the Flat Field was pretty good too.
Is this some weird-ass regression? Mid-life crisis? Could I be one of these? Tamagothi returns!
