It's sunny out.
I don't know why, but I just feel really good today, in spite of life's tiny frustrations, or the TGMs, as I call them (Tryin'a Get t'Me). I believe (yes, in spite of my ringtone rant yesterday) that happiness is a matter of outlook, rather than pointless accumulation of monetary wealth or social standing. Like they say, you can't take any of it with you. All that we really leave behind us, and all that we really can take with us, is how we treat each other -- whether that be with respect and dignity, or suspicion and hatred. If you spend your life hating, then that's all you really have at the end of your life: a lifetime of hate. It is a pointless exercise. It is a lifetime of excrement.
So today, pay more attention to the only thing you'll ever gain from living.
