I never untie my shoelaces, they are just always in a knot. I’m still not sure if this makes my life easier or harder. con: it takes more strength to shove my foot in my all-stars, but pro: it also takes less time than it would if I had to sit down and lace them every time I put them on.
con: it makes it harder to escape, if needed. because your foot has to go in just right, and there is no room for sloppiness. a re-entry would be required if the first attempt isn’t careful. when one is escaping, one is concerned with speed and not usually with preciseness. the knot prevents me from an impending getaway… I have to just sit. and wait.
