(no subject)
So I didn't get accepted for Chinquapin or the Red Wheelbarrow, it seems. The Red Wheelbarrow has already made their acceptance calls, and Chinquapin has returned my email saying that if I haven't heard, they don't want me.
I am more dissapointed in this than I thought I would be. I have read Chinquapin and the stories were mediocre, which means my work must be even lower than that.
And its just a University publication, I would hope that I could at least reach that level. But I haven't, I've failed. I turned in what I considered to be my 3 strongest works and even they were sub par.
Man, I really feel like shit.
