OK where to start?
Well, we got there on Saturday, around Noon, and Set up Camp right where we wanted in the treeline. After Rounds of hellos and hugs. We did a little exploring. So much is Changed But So much is the Same, but better. Very nice to see some of the regulars that had already set up camps and/or merchant booths. I was assigned to medical as usual, and went to get re-acquainted with the set-up. After that we went had dinner and relaxed around camp and caught up with Old Friends and New Ones.
Sunday the gates opened and that went smoother than any other solstice that I can remember. After that we got lunch. Then Worked out the Medical Teams Schedule for the rest of the week so that people could go do what they wanted to do and we would still have 24/7 Coverage.
The rest of the details always tends to run together so I will Just post the Highlights that I can remember.
The Green Man Tavern ROCKS!!! Shade, ICE COLD Beer and Ale on Tap, Good Friends, Great Artist Performances, and A Cheers Like Atmosphere.
Loved Being able to Help out Sunshine in the Kitchen, Might want to look into spending some more time there at future Festivals.
Raiding parties to Pirate Camp are impressive!
Quote of the Week "It's Different, But a really Good Different".
Not many people Needed Medical treatment, most were pre-existing conditions and minor Scraps and cuts.
They now have Pop up Campers Right behind the Medical tent, Well, one is A Wooden Non-Popping Pop up.
"Brown Chicken, Brown Cow"
"That's what she said"
"Your Momma"
The Performers now have 3 Places to Play, Main stage, Caffeninas, and The Green Man Tavern.
Great Music and Dance, But My Favorite was Jeff McBride's Magic Show.
More to Come as I process the Week.
