Chibi Japan Expo Fanarts (+ pictures ).
The Con was, well, love.
We definitely want to do it again and have already begun brainstorming on how to improve,well, everything.
Thanks so much to everyone who came by and bought a zine (although honestly, I doubt many who did will be reading this post).
And Because I promised lacebird (and well, myself) that I would get over this "I still draw a lot but I'm a hermit" phase, here's some of the fanarts/drawings on demand I drew at our table. ( + two pictures ).
My first drawing, for lacebird, very much yanked from her artcomm petitesimages. Drawn in her abs.charming fairytale themed sketchbook, I picked the theme "Moon".
A Shirley from Code Geass! One of the only characters I became fond of in that bloody show. I'd never drawn a Shirley before, so I went around the professionnal shops looking at Code Geass artbooks to get some image reference :X (well - making quick ref sketches).
A certain "ion_negatif" asked for a Konata! Saber. kakebuke was kind enough to bring her nendoroid for costume ref :).
A girl from Méluzine asked for a dark,brooding type, and instead this emothing who seems to think he's wolverine came about. The eye looks a little strange, but it's also due to the weird angle the picture was taken from :X.
Word has it he's thinking about his hamster.
A Miku! Second one I've drawn in my life. Her cheeks look strangely elongated :|.
And where would I be without random D.Gray-Man fanart ?
These are only the fanarts I took pictures of - memo to self: document your drawings - although I should attempt to retrieve my Sasuke from Mio's camera. Amused because Mio mostly handled the lolicons, and I had a few girls coming up to me asking me for ~pretty boys~. Not that I've had special pretty boy training, but.
