Growing up is tough!
My poor sweet baby got off the bus today and said "hold me!" first thing. Aww, he needed a hug from mommy :( He said he had a "hard day" b/c he missed me so much. He said he was fine until he felt my kiss from that morning on his forehead :( He knows how to choke me up, that's for sure!
BUT, tomorrow is Friday and he has a 3 day weekend...so i think that will be perfect to reflect on his first week of 1st grade and process it all. I know he likes it...he's just not used to being gone so long. Kindergarten was from 12:50 to 3:21. And if he takes the bus both ways this year, he's gone from 8:44 til 3:44 and that damn bus driver hasn't dropped him off before 3:55 even once this week. Assface.
I get to start helping in his class next week so that's going to be great for him. Last year that was a good turning point for him. So i can't wait :)
