It's been a long weekend.
Friday we played with the Spunks, Unarmed, WKS? and some lame band called Terminus Victor. Apart from Terminus Victor, the show was a lot of fun. Unarmed impressed the hell out of me. I'm not into DC hardcore sounding stuff, but they do it well, especially for a bunch of high school kids. I still really do not like WKS?, but they were entertaining. Josh was loaded, which made it a little funnier. We played the most rockin', energetic set ever, I think. A couple of my stands finally bit it for good, and I lost my sunglasses. I was so exhausted after that I couldn't stay inside to watch most of the Spunks set.
We partied here afterwards. It was a lot of fun. The jukebox was giving us static, but Steve and I both had some good party playlists on our ipods. Much dancing and drinking followed. If anyone has pictures of Zman and Steve dancing, I need to see them immediately.
Saturday morning I took Zman and Steve's girlfriend to get their cars and headed out to Johnstown to visit Meghan at school. I actually had some dough since we got paid on Friday and I could take back the money the band owes me, so we ate at Quizno's, went looking for Red Bull and hung out with some lame college kids. (Alright, so maybe only one of them was really lame. But none of them have any taste in music.) I drank too much, insulted their stupid drinking games and made them listen to Les Sexareenos. It was actually pretty fun, and no one killed me so I must not have been a total asshole.
Sunday I got to eat my mom's spaghetti for the first time in months, then Shaun and I went to check out Shaun of the Dead. Go see this movie. Do not make any excuses. Just do it.
