..and Hell week has begun
This week I have 3 exams. Tomorrow in Psych, Tuesday in Org Comm, and Wednesday in IP Comm. Manageable but far from comfortable. Amanda and I spent about 4 hours on Psych Thursday night and are going to do some more reviewing later tonight.
In other news, I lost my student ID. Exactly how, don't ask because I don't know. I know I used it to get in my hall about 2am Friday night coming home from the Telecaster's party but when I woke up the next morning it was nowhere to be found. I've looked everywhere...so it looks like I might have to pay 20 bucks to get a new one...ridiculous, I know. Not having a student ID the weekend of the Notre Dame game when security was on its hiatus was a bit difficult to say the least. Speaking of the game..wow. I almost feel like I jynxed our team. I left my friend's house on Grand River with about 5 minutes left to go and I said something like "Oh cool, I'll be passing the stadium around the time we'll be winning." Except I get to the library and I hear crazy booing from the stadium, so I quickly call my friends to find out we started losing like a minute after I left. East Lansing is a completely different place on game days; I can't really even describe it. People EVERYWHERE. Even like near the doors of your halls..especially since I live in South Complex which is like literally across the street from the stadium and the student tailgate section.
Sideshow has been really fun thus far. We shot a sketch making fun of the parking police on Friday in their parking lot...hahaha. I don't think they appreciated it too much but we did some fast talking and were able to stay for the full shoot.
My foot is pretty much better now...still feels kinda weird but I would say its healed. Anything else to randomly ramble about? hmm. I will say in some ways I do kind of miss some things of home..but at the same time I'm having a blast here. I've been doing my fair share of weekend partying, while still keeping up with studying and such. I feel like I have good friends here.
There have been other things on my mind as well...but I must soon leave for a meeting and study session so I guess I'll just have to make this a cliff hanger.
