Y'know what I hate? I hate that you can control whether your status is hidden or not. If you WANT TO TALK to people on your goddamn FRIENDS (hence: FRIENDS) list, then don't hide your goddamn status. I have no idea WHEN the hell my friends are on and offline, so I hardly EVER get to talk to them because they make it so damn DIFFICULT for me. Like people have to feel so superior in the fact that "oh, I can only talk to you when I want, because I know when you're online and you don't know when I'm online! Teehee!"

AIM should NOT make this a privelege. What's the point in having a damn IM service if you're just going to be hiding from people that might want to talk to you all the damn time? It's like every time I try to talk to someone, it's a goddamn chance. Maybe they're online! Maybe they're not! I just blindly message people hoping they're on, which is a WASTE OF MY TIME.
