XD really? i'm not sure i'm gonna post it online, just cause i'm afraid of copywright theft...not that the screenplay is super-amazing, um, it's a silly little romcom, but i spent a LOT of time on it, you know?

but for starters i will totally answer questions ABOUT screenplay writing, if you have any. which i know isn't at all the same thing!

how about you--have you made any gorgeous art lately?

Definitely understood. If you ever want to/feel comfortable, though, you could always PM or something :) In the mean time, I'm re-working on a screenplay I started about 3 years ago, so if I think of any questions to ask you, I certainly will!

Hmmm. Sadly, no real arts since the Merlin drawing, which was, wow, like a year and a half ago :/ Icons are still at threelocks :D

without being sbolutely hypocritical, can i ask what your screenplay is about? : ) what genre is it?

i love your icons! you just use light and colors in really lovely ways.

No, that's totally cool! It's about Degas and the Little Dancer. If you ever read the children's book, which has always been one of my favourites, the script is inspired by that. But I'm clearly expanding on the story and making it a little more adult. (Not terribly so, just a little. The real girl who modelled the sculpture has a very interesting history.) I'm not sure what genre that places it in, though, haha :P I'd say it's a quiet sort of drama.

I haven't read that book, which is a SHAME because I adore the sculpture and always have. Can you tell me a little more about it?

a quiet sort of drama.
That is the classiest of genres. : )

Oh my gosh, if you're ever at a library, go to the children's section and see if you can find it. If you look at this page for the book, you'll probably get a good idea of the very basic premise. The rest I'm basing around a rather short but compelling article on Marie's history. She became a prostitute not long after modelling for Degas, and after that, she sort of disappeared from record. Right now, I have the beginning and the end, and most of the middle, but I'm still a little under halfway done. Maybe I could find a excerpt and share it with you? I'm actually quite eager to get some feedback. I haven't shared it yet with anyone :)
