awesome! which are your favorites? : )

Hmmm. let's see. Jesus Christ Superstar is the first one that comes to mind, just cause that is like the thing of my childhood. Like, I went to see a production of it with my best friend as a kid, and then my first CD ever was the soundtrack which I listened to nonstop. So it's very childhood-memories, plus it's just so much fun to listen to, in general.

I also love West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music - more childhood loves. And after seeing a local production I came to be a fan of Ragtime. Oh, and I just watched 1776 on Netflix - that was soooo much fun, zomg.

Strangely I have never seen Mary Poppins. This dire situation should be fixed, now that I think of it!

i am so going to check out those crack!fics now. oh, crack!fic, i love you sooo.....

Yesyes, do do do. They're each short little drabbles and won't take up much of your time, but oh how they are delicious.

Those are also two of my favorite authors like ever - they've each got a ton of fic, but if you're interested I'll compile little lists of my favorites of theirs. They're both just lovely, and very nice, too.

Cool, was hoping you'd say that! Cause...I like making listy things. :D

I'll limit myself to top 5 for each out of pure willpower.

By snowpuppies:

1) Dawn Summers, Matchmaking Genius - she's probably done better recently, but it's hands-down her most enjoyably plotty thing, and quite fluffy. It's Spike/Xander with Dawn settin' them up. Great, great fun. R, 4,360 words.

2) Wrong - daaaaark. Sooo lovely and daaaaark. Dawn and Spike, an AU off Bargaining. R, 1,048 words.

3) First Time for Everything - another cute fluffy one, come to think of it - she don't actually write too many of those, but when she does they're so lovely. Anya/Willow, in a hilarious not-love way, with some good ol' friendly Kennedy-bashing. R, 2,609 words.

4) Waiting for You - gah. SO sweet. Willow/Tara in the cutest way possible. NC-17, 1,573.

5) Time - hmmm, guess I got a fluff spot after all. :D Willow/Oz, really really adorable and yummy. PG, 786 words.

There are so many others I could rec, but I'll leave it at that - just browsing through her masterlist works too.

By deird1:

1) Just the Four of Us - which is a remix of Last Call and will make more sense if you read that first. It's also got an OC for a main character, but seriously - sooo worth it. Fluffy tinged with sad wrapped up in awwwww. Most of the Scoobs get supporting roles, and Cordy's got a special one. Probably a PG for references to sexytimes, 5,820 words.

2) Dreaming - Mmm. Just - mmmm. Lovely dream sequence writing, fab ending, hot sexytimes - mmm. Buffy/Faith. R, 1,160 words.

3) Shell Game - crazy-ass format that works like whoa. Illyria and Fred's mom. G, 5,370 words.

4) Small Spaces - just adorable, hands down. Wesley and Dawn. G, 1,360 words. With a sequel Waiting Game which is also G, 3,580 words.

5) The Very Secret Diary of Andrew Wells - OCs out the wazoo, and Andrew's not the most popular character, but so so lovely and cute and sad. She does such a good job world-building and making you care about the OCs - she's really the OC queen. PG-ish, 2,300 words. Also I did remix of it.

So there we are! Obviously I am not compelling you to read every single one of them or to like them, but these two are IMO really good writers, and I like to share that sort of thing. Do lemme know what you think if you end up reading any.
