(no subject)
So I know I haven't written in a while. A LONG while. Well, there's a simple reason for this. I've had nothing to write about. I still don't, really....
I picked up a second job with LSA Central Files. It's boring but relatively easy, even for one so incompetent as I am. Plus the people that I work with are nice. A definite plus!
I wake up each morning, go to work, come home to eat lunch, then go back to work at transpo. I return in the evening, eat again, then crash only to wake up and repeat the process. Every day is almost exactly the same. I feel like a robot. I feel very little.
Soon enough this will change. It has already, but only temporarily, due to an error in the system at Transpo (which effectively destroyed all evidence of my ever having worked there....I'll return next week). In a few weeks, I'll be packing, moving, and starting school again. I may have to keep both jobs, or find suitable alternatives.... Either way, at least I'll have more to look forward to than 8-9 hours of work a day.
And....that's pretty much it. I'd like to get out of Ann Arbor and do something fun, if only for a few days. If anyone has suggestions (must be cheap!) let me know.
I hope everyone else's summer is going better than mine!
P.S. The highlight of my day was listening, for the first time, to the absurdity that is R. Kelley's "In the Closet", a "hip-hopera". Terrible and fantastic at the same time.
