Here's an update for you!
I will admit, I've gotten the facebook bug, however Livejournal is still much much better for blogging, and I still read everyone's entries dilligently when I have the time... Haha, and free time is pretty rare for this cat!
Where to begin?!
Exam time is here once again. I actually only have three finals that I actually need to sit in a gymnasium and write, my fourth class is a take home exam that doesn't look overly horrible :)
My classes are all done, and my first exam isn't until thursday, so I should have a bit of time to study, and an bit of time to myself, provided the little one doesn't decide to make her grand entrance haha. Not that I would complain at all! I'm getting anxious to see her!
Speaking of the little one, when I went for my 36 week appointment with the obstetrician, He checked her position, and checked to see if I had dialated at all... Which I have! 1.5cm! It really shouldn't be much longer haha! (I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow which is considered full term for anyone who was unsure :) ) He also told me that she hadn't engaged yet, however when I woke up friday morning, she had dropped, (or at least I thought) Which my family doctor then confirmed that evening... So we're all ready to go! Just a waiting game now!
We also got a pediatrician for the baby when she's born which is one less thing to worry about :)
I played around with the car seat today to figure out how to use it... They look really complicated, but in reality very easy to use. My only problem has been installing the base into our car. We have a VW Passat, and the seatbelts in the rear are really strage :S. So after some frustration I gave up, and I'll let Joel handle it later...
I also took some time to put some finishing touches on the nursery... I now just have to put up the winnie the pooh decals that I purchased from home depot... (yeah I did the nursery in winnie... I didn't realize it was such a fad until later...)
I'm also tossing around the option of going back to school in the fall. My mom would come and nanny for us in Sept, and Oct, and then Joel would take his parental leave and be a stay at home dad. The hope would be that I would be done school by time the baby (or babies once we decide to have our next one) started school at which point I could start my career...
I think I'd have a super hard time leaving her though... We'll see what happens, I don't have to make any decisions yet...
So there you have it!
Hope all is well with everyone
Take care, and maybe next time you hear from me, I'll be a mom!! :)
