update ... delayed
The normal procedure I use for creating updates is to load a list of songs onto my iPod and shuffle things around until I get a list I feel comfortable posting here. Unfortunately, my iPod stopped working a couple weeks ago - right after I burned most of the music from my laptop to discs - and only recently could I get it to start working again (even that required digging around with the wiring inside). I've reloaded 2,500 songs over the past four days, but my library is still a mess.
I'm preparing another update and my hope is to have it posted by next weekend. I'm also applying for work overseas though, so that's only a tentative date. For anyone new who has joined recently box.net stores files indefinitely, so feel free to browse through any of the past four or five updates for new music - it should still all be there. Sorry, everyone!
Edit: I suppose this would be a good time to ask about suggestions. I had planned to upload more from Scandinavia, a folk-metal tune, something from Acadia, Shereen, and more music from Latin America ... but feel free to leave a comment if there's anything you'd like me to keep in mind for the next update.
